Finding optimal health, one step at a time.

The Small Steps Grant

“If you’ve been wanting to move your body but don’t know where to start — this is for you.”

Movement as Medicine for People Living with Chronic Illness.

Helping individuals reconnect with movement through support, community, and access.

Why Movement Matters:

For individuals living with chronic illness, movement can feel out of reach.

Fatigue, pain, and uncertainty often make it difficult to stay consistent — even when we know movement can help.

The Small Steps Grant was created to remove those barriers.

We believe movement is not about intensity or performance — it’s about rebuilding trust with your body, one step at a time.

What This Grant Provides

Selected recipients will receive support designed to make movement more accessible and sustainable.

  •  Movement essentials (sneakers, comfortable apparel)
  •  Access to beginner-friendly walk/run clubs and meetups
  •  Entry to gentle movement classes (yoga, Pilates, mobility)
  •  Support from a community that understands chronic illness

Who It’s For

The Small Steps Grant is designed for individuals living with chronic illness who are ready to explore or return to movement in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
