Finding optimal health, one step at a time.
The Foundation for Optimal Health exists to remove the financial and practical barriers that prevent people with MS from accessing supportive, wellness-focused care that improves quality of life.
TFOH is a Long Island–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting people with MS through accessible, community-based wellness experiences rooted in small steps, peer connection, and whole-person care.
Why We Exist
Founders Brooke Pulver and Tara Lawless met during a lifestyle clinical study exploring Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Through shared experience, they saw how access to alternative therapies and supportive community could change daily life with MS — and how often that access was limited by cost, information, or system barriers.
The Foundation for Optimal Health was created to close that gap.
We are focused on access, dignity, and support.
Everything we do is designed to help people with MS feel less alone, more capable, and more empowered in their wellness journey.
Wellness should be accessible, not optional.
Health should not be sacrificed, it should be optimal.
